Amazing $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. Primary Feature

Entry Level

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
